Nutella Rocher Brownies

These hazlenut heavy, Nutella infused and Ferrero Rocher packed brownies are divine. They are not too sweet and give you that fudgy brownie consistency that we all so adore. The crackled top and their crunchy outer layer paired with their chocolately goodness are not going to disappoint.

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 C brown sugar,
    firmly packed
  • 300g Nutella
  • 80 g plain flour
  • 40 g flaxseed meal
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 100g dark choc chips
  • 12 Ferrero Rocher chocolates,
    halved

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 160°C fan forced and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Using an electric beater, combine the eggs and brown sugar in a bowl for 3-4 minutes until doubled in volume and thick. Melt the Nutella in the microwave and add into the egg mixture. Fold in the flour, flaxseed meal, cocoa and dark chocolate.
  3. Pour about 3/4 of the mixture into the pan. Place the halved Ferrero Rochers over the batter and press in. Spoon the remaining batter over to cover. Bake in oven for 30 minutes or until just cooked. Set aside to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
NOTES

You can always substitute different nut butter instead of nutella and different chocolates instead of Ferrero Rochers to achieve your desired flavour, (or to make do with what you have at home).
