It takes only 5 minutes to make these guilt-free Peanut Butter Protein Balls that are a great healthy snack for any time of the day that curb your sweet desires (without the additives, flavourings or excess sugars!). Packed with protein and being energy boosters, they are perfect go-to snacks on the fly. An added bonus… they have less than 70 calories per serve!
Besides the ingredients, the only equipment you need is a food processor, blender or a Thermomix... they'll do all the chopping and mixing for you! Check out the Peanut Butter Protein Balls video.
*With dried dates, you will need to soak them in boiling hot water for 10 minutes and then drain them, prior to making the balls.
**Natural and organic Peanut Butter is best, crunchy is my go-to. You can substitute other nut butters if preferred.
***This depends on how sticky you want your balls. More water = stickier balls.
If allergic to almonds, you can use any other sort of nut but I would recommend cashew as the best alternative.
